STRAWBERRY BASIL ICED TEA
Ingredients:
900 ml hot water
2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries
Juice of 1/2 lime + 2-3 slices of lime
*2 tbsp herbal loose tea (I used elderberry healer blend; hibiscus works well too)
2-3 tbsp honey or sweetener of choice
1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
1/2 cup fresh mint
Directions:
1. Blend the strawberries into a purée and add lime juice. If you’re using frozen strawberries, microwave them for a couple of minutes before blending.
2. Add all the ingredients to a teapot. Stir, cover with a lid, and let it steep for 10-15 minutes if you’d like to enjoy it hot. Alternatively, let it cool completely and serve over ice.
*Notes: I added extra whole strawberries for aesthetic reasons, but you don’t have to—you can just blend everything. ♥️

*Loose tea ingredients: organic ginger root, organic elderberries, organic hibiscus flowers, organic licorice root.
